Article Processing Charges for golden open access started from 1st January 2024
Power Electronics and Drives is an open access journal freely available to all readers.
To publish in
Power Electronics and Drives, authors are asked to pay an article processing charge (APC). The APC only applies if the article is accepted for publication after peer-review and possible revision of the manuscript. There are no charges for rejected articles, no submission charges, and no surcharges based on the color figures.
Article processing charges for Open Access (since September 1, 2024):

The fee for publishing an article covers up to
15 pages in PDF format of the journal template.
If the article extends beyond 15 pages, the journal will charge an additional 30 Euro for each extra page.
Accepted articles will not be published until payment has been received. Refunds are not possible once article has been published.
On-line payment can be made after logging to the
Editorial System.

Regulations for online payments at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology
§ 1. Definitions
1. Organizer – Wrocław University of Science and Technology (hereinafter referred to as the WUST), Wyb. Wyspiańskiego 27, 50-370 Wroclaw, TIN: 8960005851, REGON: 000001614.
2. Customer – a Consumer, or a natural person running a business or a legal person or an organizational unit without legal personality, who has concluded a contract with the Organizer by paying the price through online payment.
3. Online Payment Operator – Autopay S.A., ul. Powstańców Warszawy 6, 81-718 Sopot, TIN: 5851351185, REGON: 191781561, KRS: 0000320590.
4. Payment – payment by the Customer for services offered by the Organizer using the forms of payment made available by the Online Payment Operator.
§ 2. General provisions
1. These "Regulations for online payments at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology” (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulations") set out the rules for processing online payments for services provided by: Wrocław University of Science and Technology, with its registered seat at Wyb. Wyspiańskiego 27, 50-370 Wroclaw, TIN: 8960005851, REGON: 000001614.
2. The online payment service provider is Autopay S.A. having its registered office in Sopot, 81-718 Sopot, Powstańców Warszawy 6 Street, entered in the register of entrepreneurs kept by the District Court Gdańsk-Północ in Gdańsk, VIII Commercial Division of the National Court Register under the number 0000320590, TIN: 5851351185, REGON: 191781561.
3. To use the Service, you must have read and accepted the Terms and Conditions.
4. On-line payment can be made by the user having account in the Editorial System accessible from the website of Power Electronics and Drives journal. After logging to the Editorial System and clicking the button Payment, the user will be redirected to the Autopay portal supporting on-line payments.
5. The amounts of the Organizer's service charges are available on specific websites from which the online payment is initiated.
6. The Organizer can accept partial payments or offer waivers to author not capable to cover APCs.
7. Accepted articles will not be published until payment has been received. Refunds are not possible once article has been published.
8. After completing payment, the user receives an email confirmation of the transaction to the address indicated in the account
9. The Organizer bears no responsibility if the user supplies false or misleading information, if the user cannot access the on-line payment portal as a result of using wrong browser, incorrect configuration of software or hardware.
§ 3. Payment methods
1. The available forms of payment are:
a. Payment cards: Visa, Mastercard,
b. Pay-by-link online payment,
c. BLIK,
d. Traditional bank transfer to the designated bank account number.
2. In the case of online payment via Pay-by-link, BLIK, and traditional transfer, the time of payment is considered to be the moment when the transfer is credited to the Organizer's bank account.
3. In the case of payment via a payment card, the time of payment is deemed to be the moment of positive authorisation of the transaction.
4. If a refund is required for a Payment made by the Customer by payment card, the Organizer shall make the refund to the bank account assigned to the Customer's payment card.
5. If it is necessary to refund the payment made by the Customer via other payment methods referred to in section 1, the Organizer shall make the refund to the bank account indicated by the Customer in the letter addressed to the Organizer, stating the reason for the necessity of the refund.
6. Refunds shall be made as soon as information on the reasonableness of the refund is taken, but within 14 days at the latest.
§ 4. Complaints Procedure
1. Complaints regarding the processing of online payments should be submitted by e-mail to jpeed@pwr.edu.pl
2. The Organizer shall, within 14 (fourteen) days from the date of receipt of the complaint from the Customer, resolve the complaint and reply to it by e-mail.
§ 5. Personal data
1. The Wrocław University of Science and Technology (hereinafter referred to as the WUST) is the controller of the personal data of Customers using the online payment service at the WUST.
2. Personal data are processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (Official Journal of the European Union) hereinafter GDPR.
3. Customers' personal data are processed by the WUST in order to provide the service, to pass them on to the Online Payment Operator providing online payment services at the WUST to customers, and to contact customers, including in connection with complaints made by them.
4. Personal data is processed by the WUST in accordance with the applicable legislation, in particular the provisions of the GDPR.
5. The WUST shares the Customer's personal data with the Online Payment Operator for the purpose and to the extent (first name, last name, company name, phone number and e-mail) necessary to process the online payment (not applicable to traditional transfers).
6. In addition, customers' personal data may be transferred to:
a. Providers of technology solutions for the secure storage and encryption of payment card data,
b. Entities entitled to receive them under applicable law, including the competent judicial authorities.
7. The WUST and the Online Payment Operator apply security measures, including organisational and technical measures, and implement the obligations arising from the Personal Data Protection Act and implementing regulations.
8. The WUST has appointed a Data Protection Officer, who can be contacted in matters concerning the processing of personal data at e-mail address iod@pwr.edu.pl .

10. Customers' personal data will be stored for the period necessary for the provision of the service and for billing and tax purposes.
11. The WUST shall ensure that Customers exercise their rights with regard to the personal data being processed, i.e. the right of access to data, the right to rectification of data, the right to erasure of data ("right to be forgotten"), the right to restrict processing, the right to data portability insofar as this is technically feasible and, in cases provided for by law, a reasoned request to cease processing.
§ 6. Withdrawal from the contract
1. The Customer, being a Consumer within the meaning of the provisions of the Consumer Rights Act, has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 days from the date of its conclusion (the date of the execution of the Payment) by making a clear statement, addressed to: jpeed@pwr.edu.pl
